ellipse elkshow

Sometimes serene, sometimes brutal, always engaging, Ellipse Elkshow creates audio and visual art that fluctuates between the agoraphobic and claustrophobic, the free and the controlled. Recontextualized culture and trash are the backbone of Elkshow's brazen, confounding and thought-provoking works. While a nod to the raw honesty of joy coerces the art back out of the mind and into a dance, a thrash or a slumber.

Ellipse Elkshow is one of the founders of Buildings Building Themself(vs) Media Machine and one half of GITAR with I Cut People. He’s worked and played with legendary label Seeland Records, The Bran Flakes, Evolution Control Committee, Rebore Records and Savant Records, among other note-worthy artists + Labels. He is also the founder, owner, and manager of PG Cafe + Gallery - a cafe, music venue, art gallery and event space in Evansville, Indiana
