Edited from sample-based electro-free-jazz improv sessions. The album focuses on the media coverage of Hurricane Katrina, the effects of the catastrophe on New Orleans, the handling of the event by FEMA, and the media that ignored or debased the suffering that was endured.
Techno God Hammer - The Musical
Improvised and edited music by NAO and TOdd Elkshow, from 2003 and 2004. Every thing imaginable is used on this album, hammers, metal, found junk, samplers, home-made instruments, voice, radios, a cat, field recordings, guitar, drummachines, redwood trees, and laptops, to make a compelling, disrupting, engaging and freeing collection of DADA jazz audio candy.
